2. Cancellation Timeline

2.1 Before Dispatch:

Orders can be cancelled before dispatch from the quarry. Cancellations made during this period are eligible for refund.

  • Platform charges (service fees) will be deducted from the total amount paid
  • The remaining amount after deduction will be refunded to your original payment method
  • Refunds are processed automatically upon successful cancellation

2.2 After Dispatch:

Cancellations are not permitted once your order has been dispatched from the quarry.

This policy ensures operational efficiency and prevents resource wastage. Once dispatch has occurred, the order cannot be cancelled.

2.3 After Delivery:

Cancellations are not permitted after delivery has been completed.

Completed orders cannot be cancelled. If you have any issues with your delivery, please contact customer support at support@bookmysand.com for assistance.

3. Refund Calculation

3.1 Refund Amount:

For orders cancelled before dispatch, the refund is calculated as follows:

  • Total Amount Paid: The full amount you paid for the order
  • Platform Charges Deduction: Service fees charged by the platform
  • Net Refund Amount: Total Amount Paid - Platform Charges

Example:

If you paid ₹1,000 and platform charges are ₹50, you will receive ₹950 as refund.

3.2 What Gets Deducted:

  • Platform service fees
  • Transaction processing fees (if applicable)

4. Refund Processing

4.1 Processing Timeframe:

  • Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days after cancellation
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
  • Refunds are initiated automatically upon successful cancellation

4.2 Payment Method:

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used for the transaction:

  • If you paid via UPI, the refund will be credited to the same UPI account
  • If you paid via credit/debit card, the refund will be credited to the same card
  • If you paid via net banking, the refund will be credited to the same bank account
  • Cash on delivery orders do not require refunds as payment is made upon delivery

4.3 Refund Status:

You can track your refund status by logging into your account and checking your order history. You will also receive email notifications regarding refund processing.

5. Important Conditions

5.1 Cancellation Eligibility:

  • Cancellations are only allowed before dispatch
  • Once an order is dispatched, it cannot be cancelled
  • Completed deliveries cannot be cancelled

5.2 Automatic Processing:

Refunds are initiated automatically upon successful cancellation. No manual intervention is required from your side.

6.3 Payment Gateway Issues:
